PQE Partners is partnering with a specialist governance and company secretarial services firm to appoint a Company Secretary to join their growing Perth team.
  
This position will manage a portfolio of ASX-listed mining and resources clients, supporting Boards and executives with all aspects of governance, compliance, and disclosure. You’ll play a key role in helping clients meet their obligations under the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, and JORC Code reporting framework.
  
It’s a role that offers autonomy, client variety and exposure to some of Western Australia’s most active listed companies in the mining and exploration space.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering company secretarial and governance services to a portfolio of ASX-listed mining and resources clients.
  • Preparing and managing Board and Committee meeting materials including agendas, papers, and minutes.
  • Advising on compliance with the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), ASX Listing Rules, and the JORC Code.
  • Managing continuous disclosure, share registry, and corporate reporting requirements.
  • Maintaining statutory records, corporate registers, and governance documentation.
  • Supporting clients with annual reports, AGMs, and corporate actions.
  • Developing and maintaining best-practice governance frameworks, policies, and processes.
  • Building strong relationships with Boards, executives, shareholders, registries, and regulators.
About You
You’ll be technically strong, commercially minded and confident engaging with listed company Boards and executives.
  
To be successful, you’ll bring:
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Company Secretary or governance role, with ASX-listed experience essential.
  • Strong understanding of the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, and JORC Code.
  • Previous exposure to mining, resources, or energy clients.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or GIA accreditation (or working towards).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional written communication.
  • Excellent organisation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
