PQE Partners are representing a high-calibre financial services client who are seeking a mid-level Legal Counsel to join their collaborative and high-performing legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and provide legal support across a broad range of complex and high-profile Corporate Finance transactions.

Key Responsibilities
As Legal Counsel, you will provide support across a wide variety of matters, including but not limited to:
- Debt Capital Markets (DCM) transactions – including investment grade bonds, high yield bonds, MTN programmes, and sovereign bonds
- Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions – including IPOs, secondary capital raisings, block trades, and buy-backs
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Convertible and exchangeable bond issuances
- Debt advisory matters, including refinancing's
- Drafting and reviewing legal documentation, such as: non-disclosure agreements, engagement letters, disclaimers, underwriting agreements, block trade and buy-back agreements, dealer and subscription agreements
- Proactively assessing potential legal risks, communicating those risks to the business, and collaborating on appropriate risk management strategies
- Supporting with overflow work from private capital, such as NDAs and general transaction support
About You
You will ideally have:
- 2–4 years’ post-qualification experience gained within a top-tier law firm or in-house financial institution
- Experience in at least one of the following areas: ECM, DCM, M&A or debt advisory
- A genuine interest in expanding your skill set across new and complex areas of Corporate Finance
- A strong commercial mindset and an ability to navigate fast-paced, high-stakes transactions
- A collaborative approach and desire to work as part of a close-knit and high-performing team
