About the opportunity:
You'll be joining a high performing team of strong technical lawyers, focused on banking & finance transactions. 
  
Key responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and prepare, draft, negotiate and finalise documents across a range of financial products 
• You'll be responsible for corporate lending and will have the opportunity to support the team with other complex finance transactions
• Identify and mitigate legal risks in transactions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage the transaction pipeline
• Draft and update precedent documentation
• Identify and manage compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines

About you:
You will be a 3-6 PQE banking and finance lawyer with experience from a mid-tier firm. You'll have solid drafting skills (with strong attention to detail) in relation to finance documents, general commercial agreements, legal opinions, letters of advice and communications with legal counsel acting for other parties.

To succeed in this role, you need to be able to build strong relationships with the business and re-prioritise your day when urgent requests come in.
