Key Responsibilities
As Legal Counsel, you will:

• Provide legal advice on life insurance, superannuation, and retirement products.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements with partners and suppliers.
• Review disclosure documents and marketing material.
• Advise on a wide range of regulatory issues under the Corporations Act, Insurance Contracts Act, Life Insurance Act, and Superannuation laws.
• Assist with breach reporting, regulatory engagement, and remediation processes.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers and cross-functional teams on strategic projects.

About You
You will be an Australian-admitted lawyer with:

• 3–5 years’ post-admission experience, ideally in financial services law.
• Strong knowledge of Chapter 7 of the Corporations Act and other relevant legislation.
• Experience with group life insurance, retirement products, investments, or commercial contracting will be highly regarded.
• A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
• A motivated and proactive approach, with excellent attention to detail.
