PQE Partners are representing a well-established financial services business on a newly created Legal Counsel role.
Key Responsibilities
• Advising on financial services regulatory matters
• Supporting the management of complaints and dispute resolution processes
• Providing legal input across lending and operational activities
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
• Assisting with risk management and internal policy development
• Liaising with key internal stakeholders and managing external advisors where required
About You
• 3+ PQE with experience in financial services law
• Strong understanding of Australian regulatory frameworks
• Ideally some exposure to disputes or complaints management
• Commercial, pragmatic and comfortable working autonomously
• Willing to get into the detail and take ownership of matters
