We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join their Sydney team on a permanent basis. This is a rare opportunity to work on complex, high-value transactions across private equity, funds and corporate investments.
Having successfully placed multiple lawyers across this organisation, I can provide genuine insights into the work, team culture and progression opportunities, and will guide you through the process with transparency and support.
Key Responsibilities
As Legal Counsel, you will:
You will bring 3–5 years’ PQE gained in a top or mid-tier law firm, investment fund or financial institution. Experience across corporate/M&A, private equity, funds or structured transactions will be highly valued.

- Support senior lawyers in advising on private equity, funds and corporate investment transactions.
- Draft, review and negotiate a range of investment, corporate and financing documents.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel to manage transaction execution.
- Conduct legal research, assist with due diligence and contribute to the structuring of complex deals.
- Gain exposure to novel and first-of-their-kind transactions with tangible commercial impact.
