PQE Partners have partnered with a national law firm undergoing exciting growth, with a strategic focus on building out their financial lines and coverage offering. This is a newly created Special Counsel opportunity that will see you work closely with senior leadership, playing a pivotal role in shaping the team and service offering.

Key Responsibilities
You’ll act as a senior advisor across a range of financial lines matters, including:

• Advising on D&O, professional indemnity and management liability matters
• Coverage advice and dispute resolution for insurers and insureds
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
• Supporting business development and thought leadership initiatives
• Working closely with senior management on firm strategy and growth in this space

  
About You
You will ideally have:

• 8+ years’ PQE with a strong background in financial lines and insurance coverage
• Experience acting for insurers or insureds, ideally with exposure to both
• The ability to work independently while supporting junior team members
• A commercial, client-first mindset and an interest in growing a practice
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
